Hiking to Mt. Ciremai

Mount Ciremai National Park or Gunung Ciremai National Park is located around 50 km to the south of the city of  Cirebon in West Java Indonesia The park extends into the Kuningan and Majalengka regencies south of Cirebon. The park surrounds Mt Ciremai, an active volcano, the highest peak in West Java. Groups of hikers, including parties of students, often climb the peak although care is needed.

Mount Ciremai full of challenge. With height 3078 mdpl. I never thought it will be difficult track that i ever meet. (I suggest you before you leave and decide go to mountain please find out how the track... hahaha). We all start from Jakarta, i ride with my friend car, we departed from Jakarta and traveled for 8 hours to Cirebon. If you don't have car you can use bus from Kampung Rambutan terminal Jakarta to Cirebon. or you can use train from Jakarta Kota station to Cirebon. 
We meet with other friend in Cirebon terminal, from there we headed to the post Ligarjati for registration. This is pos registration.

 To reach this place is so easy, you can use train or bus to Cirebon. That time i go with bus it cost you about IDR 40.000 from Terminal kampung rambutan Jakarta to Cirebon terminal. And continuing journey with mini jeep
