Trip To Bira Island in Thousand Island Jakarta (1)

Me and my friends we headed to the beach in thousand island, the beach name Bira island. i think not many people know this place i hope this is a private beach not many people activity you can full relax in that place.
At 8'oclock we headed to Bira use speed boat it take 2 hours from marina dock to the Bira island. We transit in some place to drop some passenger. The first stop in Ayer Island. It's look like expensive island this island is very neat and well maintained they have play ground, good bungalow. They made warning too "Not allowed to bring food or beverage from outside" i don't know what consequences if you break the rule. I think that just they strategic for visitor to buy food or beverage in that island so they will charge you more expensive than normal price.

Next stop we transit in Pramuka island, is like small village many cheap home stay, local home
residence, masque, school, mini market. Most traveler or backpacker come to this place and stay in cheap home stay and they will leave with small boat for snorkeling.

The last stop is Kotok Island. Wow... it's look like private island. We can't see from outside cause cover up with trees. I heard they have have beautiful beach in other side. Unfortunately we just see in other side.
And finally we arrive in Bira Island. We are so excited and we could not resist to get into the water. Christal water and white sand.

I stepped on this creature, first aid what i do when i hit this are removing the thorn stuck, take a rock and tap-tap with hard it's useful to break up the black liquid. If that hit you a lot, removing the thorn stuck and give urine cause urine contain amoniac. Sea urchins have the power to protect themselves in the form of toxins that are in the thorns. If our skin is exposed to the thorn, the poison will enter the body and you will feel the soreness, pain, burning, itching.
What a shame, i could only take pictures while we were on land, underwater nature is very beautiful. I can not take pictures because i do not have a camera that can take pictures in the water.
After snorkeling we transit in Bintang Island to find coconut.

I felt in love with this place, it's really nice during day but the bad thing is this island not maintained. No one stay here, they will come if they would have guests. Is a beautiful island. i feel don't wanna go home food in here delicious. This island is suitable for me who have short weekend. It's private island not many people, white sand, crystal water, quiet place, cheap, close from Jakarta.
If you wanna go to this place i have two option :
1) go by local boat, this boat leave from angke dock and first boat leave at 07.00 in the morning, price about IDR 25.000 one way, it take 3 hour and transit in pramuka island then change small boat to Bira island.
2) go by speed boat from marina dock, ancol. First boat leave at 08.00 in the morning price about IDR 250.000 for one way it just take 2 hours from marina to Bira island. This boat is more comfort than local boat.
Plus minus for both :
option 1 you can save a lot of money for boat.
option 2 you can save a lot of time
I suggest you to book first if you plan to Bira, they will prepare for place and food when you arrive. Here is the contact number 085718007685. And bring good camera to take picture under water.
